The Cuifeng Mountain Site is located about 1,000 meters southwest of Zhaojiagou Village, Zhaojiagou Township, Hequ County. It stretches approximately 300 meters from east to west and 300 meters from north to south, covering a total area of around 90,000 square meters. The site has an oval-shaped layout, higher in the north and lower in the south, with a cultural layer about 1.5 meters thick. Surface collections include fragments of gray pottery from the Neolithic period, decorated with basket patterns, as well as fragments of gray pottery from the Eastern Zhou period, featuring corded patterns. In 1984, it was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit by the People's Government of Hequ County.
