The Chenliupo Site
The Chenliupo Site is a cultural heritage site protected by Hequ County.
The Chenliupo Site is located about 500 meters west of Huoshan Village, Jiuxian Township, Hequ County. It stretches approximately 100 meters from east to west and 200 meters from north to south, covering an area of around 20,000 square meters. The site sits on a riverside terrace with relatively flat terrain. The cultural layer is about 1.5 meters thick, and fragments of gray earthenware have been found on the surface. Judging from the artifacts, it is believed to be a site from the Han Dynasty. In 1984, it was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site by the People’s Government of Hequ County.
