Gongdang Sacred Mountain is located to the south of Bingzhongluo and is one of the ten sacred mountains of the area. Its name means "white lion," derived from its lion-like shape and the milky white marble rocks that cover its surface. Visitors can drive up the mountain to enjoy the scenery. The mountain is covered with blooming alpine flowers and boasts breathtaking views, including landmarks such as Twin Elephants Peak, Fairy Peak, and Immortal’s Cave. From the summit, you can enjoy unobstructed views of the Bingzhongluo valley and the majestic First Bend of the Nu River.

Bingzhongluo Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Gongshan Dulong and Nu Autonomous County. It was known as Dalai Township of Gongshan Administrative Bureau in 1933, Qiweng Township in 1939, First District of Gongshan County in 1950, Bingzhongluo Commune in 1969, and upgraded to a district in 1984. In 1988, it became a township. Located in the northeast of the autonomous county, it is 30.5 kilometers from the county seat and borders Zayü County of the Tibet Autonomous Region to the north. Covering an area of 823 square kilometers, it has a population of 6,000, with ethnic groups including the Nu, Tibetan, and Lisu. The Nu River runs through the entire territory. The town administers four administrative villages: Qiunatong, Jiasheng, Bingzhongluo, and Shuangla.
