These stone carvings and reliefs were discovered at the site of the Bangkuang Village Committee in Bangbing Township. Three pieces remain today, each featuring different thematic patterns. According to local elders, this area was once a sacred Buddhist site where a large temple stood, believed to be several hundred years old. These carvings were used as architectural decorative materials for the temple. Originally, many such carvings existed, but most were lost due to the severe damage inflicted during the “Cultural Revolution” ten years later. The three surviving pieces, despite the passage of time and exposure to wind and rain, remain free from discoloration and are as clear and distinct as when they were first made.
