Mengku Ancient Tea Valley is situated on the upper reaches of the Nanmeng River in the northern part of Mengku Town, Shuangjiang Lahu, Va, Blang and Dai Autonomous County, at the foot of the Mengku Great Snow Mountain where tens of thousands of acres of wild ancient tea tree communities thrive. The scenic area comprises a variety of unique attractions, including the wild ancient tea tree communities, the Shrine of Shennong, Bingdao Lake (Nandeng Reservoir), ethnic villages, and the Bingdao cultivated ancient tea plantation. It serves as a comprehensive tourism destination integrating leisure, vacation, scientific research and exploration, mystery-seeking, cultural experiences, and tea culture, and is also a key tourism project prioritized in Shuangjiang’s “11th Five-Year Plan.”
