Blang Mountain
Blang Mountain is located within Menghai County, Xishuangbanna, close to the China-Myanmar border. It is a renowned Pu'er tea-producing region and one of the areas with the highest concentration of ancient tea plantations. The Blang Mountain area spans over 1,000 square kilometers.
Blang Mountain Township includes villages such as Banzhang, Laoman'e, and Manxinlong, among which the oldest village, Laoman'e, has a history of 1,400 years. The Blang people are descendants of the ancient Pu people and have lived in Blang Mountain for generations. They are among the earliest ethnic groups in the world to cultivate, produce, and drink tea.
