Yinjing “One Village, Two Countries” (One Village, Two Countries Well) is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

About 11 kilometers southwest of Ruili City lies a small border village with a rare human and geographical landscape in the world — Yinjing. The famous No. 71 China-Myanmar border marker stands in the village, with the national boundary line winding through the center of the community, making it a typical “one village, two countries” border area.

The highway from Ruili to Longdao divides the same Dai ethnic village into two parts: the Chinese side is called Yinjing, and the Myanmar side is called Mangxiu. The borderline in the village is marked by bamboo sheds, village paths, ditches, and earthen ridges. As a result, it’s common to see Chinese melon vines climbing over Myanmar bamboo fences to bear fruit, or Myanmar hens laying eggs in Chinese homes. Villagers cross the sacred national border line dozens of times a month without even noticing. The locals speak the same language, share the same customs, walk the same paths, drink from the same well, attend the same markets, and live in harmony.

3. If driving from Mangshi urban area, enter Mangshi via National Highway 320, then head toward Jiegao. The whole journey takes less than two hours.
