The Dai Ethnic History Mural Corridor is situated in the Jiegao Cultural Square. Spanning over 400 meters in total length, it comprises 104 mural panels covering a combined painted area of 1,200 square meters. It took the creators three years to finish. Using the expressive style of Chinese ink painting, the mural series centers around several major themes including historical development, culture and art, ethnic customs, and heartfelt care. It encompasses the entire historical and cultural evolution of the Dai people across South and Southeast Asia, vividly recreating the glorious political, economic, cultural, artistic, and religious histories of successive Dai kingdoms such as the Daguang Kingdom and the Gouzhanbi Kingdom. The murals depict the developmental trajectory of Dai history, ethnic customs, and scenes of daily production and life. The entire mural ensemble is grand and spectacular in scale, making it a rare artistic treasure.
