　Pingtao Primeval Forest is closely connected to the provincial-level scenic area Jiangjiahe and is located 22 kilometers from the Jiangjiahe Bridge. Here, the roaring Wu River becomes gentle, while the riverside is covered in dense forests with towering ancient trees, some as thick as ten people holding hands. Vines twist around branches, creating scenes of trees growing from trees, and so on. The area boasts a rich variety of wildlife, often seeing monkey troops playing in the woods, and the nationally rare Chinese giant salamander is frequently found in the mountain streams here.
