The former site of the Horse Inn Conference at Changgang is located in Changgang Town, with the Changgang Town Government in front, a place called Dashan behind, Huang family residences to the left, and the old Lü Oil Mill to the right. It originally consisted of two wooden structures built along a hillside, one behind the other, serving as both a post station and residential space. The rear building was a three-bay house with a blue-tiled roof, while the front building was a five-bay structure featuring three wing rooms, forming a traditional courtyard house with a blue-tiled roof, covering an area of 2,208 square meters. Both the rear wooden structure and the front hall, surrounding walls, and entrance gate have been destroyed. Currently, the stone courtyard where the Red Army held meetings during the Long March (at what is now Changgang Town) remains relatively intact. Apart from the demolished hall, the rest of the courtyard house is well preserved.

According to veterans such as Zhang Zhen and Xie Zhenhua, from March 9 to 12, 1935, the headquarters of the First Red Army Corps stayed in this building for four days. On the afternoon of March 11, a meeting of officers at the company level and above was convened in the courtyard by the Corps, during which Commissar Nie Rongzhen conveyed the spirit of the Zunyi Conference.
