“Shao Lou Guan” is located about 2 kilometers from the reservoir in Hongqi Village, Sizhai Town, at the border between Guizhou Province and Yueli Town, Nandan County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. According to elderly local villagers, “Shao Lou Guan” was anciently called a “sentry post,” which was a territorial defense structure jointly built by villagers from both provinces at the time.
