These artworks have been hailed by the art world as the “Picassos” and “Matisse” of the East, earning the area the reputation of being the “Hometown of Folk Culture and Arts in Guizhou.” The 90-meter-long collective painting "Splendid Miao Homeland," created by the Bajiang Pingpo Miao Farmer Painters Association as a tribute to the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party of China, has been permanently collected by the National Museum of Ethnic Cultures.
