Temple of Marquis Liying (Sixth Batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units)

Address: Haodong Village, Xiangyuan Township, Pingyao County

Built in the sixth year of the Taihe era of the Jin Dynasty (1206), renovated in the 29th year of the Zhiyuan era of the Yuan Dynasty (1292). The temple faces south and covers an area of 2,325.96 square meters. Only the main hall remains today, as the other structures have been destroyed.

The main hall is a Yuan Dynasty structure, built on a platform over one meter high. It features three bays in width and four rafters in depth, with a single-eave hanging hip roof. The bracket sets feature intricate designs. The hall houses 11 painted clay sculptures, all dating from the Yuan Dynasty. The east, west, and south walls feature murals from the Qing Dynasty.
