Former Site of the Sixth Prefectural Committee in Fuying　　Located in Fuying Village, Liuxi Township, 32 kilometers northwest of the county seat. In late November 1946, the decision was made to establish the Yu-Wan-Su Military District. On October 12, 1947, the Party Committee of the Yu-Wan-Su Military District, following the directive from the Central Plains Bureau to “turn the Huai River into an inland river, connect the eastern and western sections of the Pinghan Railway, and ensure the actual linkage between the Yu-Wan-Su and E-Yu-Wan regions,” decided to establish the Sixth Sub-district and the Sixth Prefectural Committee. On October 22, the first meeting of the Sixth Sub-district was held at Lide Temple in Bo County; on October 24, the sub-district headquarters operated in the areas around Zhangcunpu and Gaogongmiao, while the Sixth Prefectural Committee and Sixth Sub-district were stationed in Fuying. In January 1949, in accordance with the Central Committee’s directive “On the Administrative Jurisdiction of Liberated Areas Nationwide — Returning to Original Provincial and County Boundaries,” the Sixth Sub-district and Sixth Prefectural Committee of Yu-Wan-Su were subsequently disbanded. The site originally consisted of a compound, of which only two old houses remain today.
