Qingyun Lake Forest Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Qingyun Lake National Forest Park is an open-access park located in the urban area of Duyun, east of Wenfeng Park. Established in February 2000, it was officially designated as a national forest park by the State Forestry Administration on December 23, 2005. Serving as an urban backyard garden, the park combines forest landscapes, water bodies, and ethnic customs. Covering a total area of 3,188 hectares, it consists of three major scenic areas: Qingyun Lake, Shimen Lake, and the Luosike alpine meadow. The entire park boasts a forest coverage rate of over 90%. It features extensive natural secondary forests with rich biodiversity, including more than 1,000 species of vascular plants. Evergreen broadleaf forests paint the hills and valleys in lush green, while rare plants and ancient trees dot the landscape. Wildflowers vie for attention in their colorful bloom, autumn foliage creates a poetic haze, and in deep winter, frost-covered branches glisten crystal-clear. It acts as Duyun’s green belt, ecological corridor, and natural lung.

The Qingyun Lake Scenic Area is situated in the city center. Surrounded by green mountains on all sides, the clear waters of Qingyun Lake offer a tranquil and refreshing environment. The mountain range here resembles a horse saddle, hence it's also called Ma’an Mountain. Pavilions have been built on the mountain, and an observation deck has been constructed between the two peaks, providing panoramic views of Wenfeng Park, Baizi Bridge, and the southern part of the city. At night, colorful lights adorn the mountaintop pavilions, and searchlights pierce the starry sky, creating a fairytale, heavenly atmosphere. Within the Qingyun Lake Reservoir lies a spring known as "Dragon Spring," which flows continuously year-round into the lake. The spring water is cool and crystal clear, attracting many locals to come fetch water and exercise at dawn.
