Luosikou Scenic Area

The Luosikou Scenic Area is located about 20 kilometers west of Duyun City. It lies between longitude 107°20′–27′ east and latitude 26°12′–16′ north. As the sister mountain to Dupeng Mountain, it gets its name from its resemblance to a giant screw. The scenic area spans four townships: Gantang, Bimang, Lingyun, and Tuanshan. It stretches 10 kilometers from east to west and about 6 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of 67,500 mu. Its highest peak, Luosikou, stands at 1,738 meters above sea level, making it the second highest peak in the city. The area contains 31 streams of varying sizes that converge into the Bangshui River, Gemie River, and Caiyuan River, eventually flowing into the Mawei River. Before liberation, Luosikou was covered in pristine forests, with undulating mountains, dense woods and grasslands, and abundant water resources.

Driving Route: You can take the urban bus from Duyun to Jiangzhou to reach the area, which is about 20 kilometers from the city center.
