Sifangtan Scenic Area

Sifangtan Scenic Area is part of the Duyun Dupeng Mountain–Jianjiang National Key Scenic Spot, located 13.8 kilometers from the city center and passing through the 10,000-mu Sightseeing Agricultural Ecological Park in Gantang, Duyun. The area is abundant in rare plants and comprises three sections: the lake and mountain scenery of Sifangtan, the Gongzhu Rock Gorge, and the Yangjiachong Gorge. The landscape boasts spectacular mountains and pristine waters, integrating misty clouds, lakes, waterfalls, pools, wild mandarin ducks, natural vistas, and steep cliffs. The gorges feature drops as high as 480 meters, with multi-tiered waterfalls cascading from the sky—like jade dragons soaring or bamboo curtains hanging to the ground, with petals and shattered jade in flight. Bizarre peaks and rocks resemble deities and beasts, taking on countless elegant and vivid shapes that are strikingly lifelike. Wild mandarin ducks add a delightful touch, while the ancient post road leading to Guiyang carries an air of solemn nostalgia. The fresh air of nature provides a refreshing atmosphere, making it a natural oxygen bar that invigorates the mind and soul.
