Zhijin Guiguo Tourist Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The "Zhijin Guiguo Waterfall" is 55 meters high and 35 meters wide. It was formerly known as "Waterfall Cascading Like a Beaded Curtain," where water pours down in a continuous, spectacular display. In August 2011, the "Zhijin Guiguo Waterfall" was officially renamed the "Zhijin Waterfall."

The "Zhijin Waterfall" is located near Machang Village in the lower reaches of the Zhijin River in Guiguo Town, Zhijin County. This is a rare natural museum and biodiversity treasure trove, featuring vast lush primeval forests, majestic cascading waterfalls, spectacular highland stone forests, and the history of the local native Chuanqing people, whose lives have been closely tied to the waterfall—offering visitors a rich showcase of the area’s unique culture and scenery. Since December 2010, Zhijin Yaxian Modern Agriculture Co., Ltd. has begun developing tourism around the "Zhijin Waterfall" and the surrounding 5-kilometer area, including its primeval forests, ancient post roads, and Guanyin Temple. By December 2013, the entire "Zhijin Waterfall" scenic area had received nearly 100 million yuan in investment, constructing 3,000 meters of tourist boardwalks, a large cultural square covering 1 hectare, a parking lot spanning over 6,000 square meters, and the Yaxian Agricultural Sightseeing Park—a leisure and entertainment complex integrated with the scenic area. Among these, the cultural square has been listed in the China Shanghai Guinness World Records, earning the title of the largest wooden square in the country.

The Zhijin Waterfall features attractions such as the "Wangmei Pavilion," "Guanlang Pavilion," and "Guanguan Pavilion."
