When visiting White Pagoda Lake, don’t miss the newly built No. 1 Crystal Palace in China. This crystal palace is a semi-submersible steel structure vessel, measuring 28 meters in length and 18 meters in width—about the size of a standard basketball court. The Crystal Palace is divided into upper, middle, and lower three levels. The submerged bottom level is an underwater viewing room, featuring four themed chambers: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter, each offering visitors the sensation of a gentle spring breeze, blazing summer sun, crisp autumn air, or icy winter wonderland. Through a series of viewing windows, guests can admire the diverse and colorful underwater scenery, where schools of fish of various sizes and colors swim freely, creating a novel and fascinating experience. Sometimes, children’s lips and the fish’s lips are seen almost touching through the glass, an enchanting sight. The middle level is a swimming pool, which can be used for swimming or operating bumper boats, with white beach chairs available for relaxation, resembling a seaside amusement park. The upper level is half a luxury dance hall and half a five-story tower building designed in a traditional style, offering panoramic views of the scenic beauty of White Pagoda Lake. When the stars twinkle at night, the Crystal Palace is brightly lit, glowing from within, resembling a mirage from afar and an underwater dragon palace up close. Transportation

Bus: Take a bus from Jinqiao Bus Station to Chongzhou, then transfer to a small “van” (minibus) to reach White Pagoda Lake.

Self-driving: The round-trip toll from Chengdu to White Pagoda Lake is 16 RMB. When driving through the Wenjiang section, turn left from the Ring Expressway onto Guanghua Avenue to save 4 RMB on tolls.
