Chengdu Christian Guangyin Church

The Christian Guangyin Church is located at No. 886 Tianfu First Street, Hi-Tech District, Chengdu City (at the intersection of Tianfu First Street and Jinnan Avenue), and was designed by a Finnish architect in a typical Nordic minimalist style. The church began gatherings on October 13, 2013. It is called Guangyin Church because the designer made extensive use of the elements of "light" and "sound" in the church's design. The church is referred to as the "Church of Light," and its bell tower is called the "Voice of Angels." The walls and roof of the "Church of Light" are all black, giving the church a solemn and sacred atmosphere. On the front wall inside the church is a 9-meter-wide, 7-meter-high freehand painting known as the "Light of Creation," meticulously conceived and created by a Finnish artist. It vividly depicts the power of God in creating light, nature, and life from the initial void, chaos, and darkness. On the right side of the church’s main gate is the "Forest of Light," designed and built using the principles of light. When sunlight hits the glass wall, the reflections of outdoor trees and cast iron pipes appear on it, making visitors feel as if they are immersed in nature, breathing in the essence and dew of the natural world, creating a refreshing and uplifting sensation.
