The Chengdu Planning Exhibition Hall is located at No. 88, Jinhui West First Street, High-Tech Zone (Southern District), Chengdu. It serves as an important window to showcase Chengdu as an open regional center and an international city.

The Chengdu Planning Exhibition Hall covers a construction area of 15,000 square meters, with an exhibition area of 12,000 square meters, spread across four floors. The first floor is an impressive and aesthetically pleasing reception hall that embodies the cultural essence of Chengdu; the second floor comprehensively showcases cultural Chengdu, all-region Chengdu, ecological Chengdu, the city’s historical memory, and the footprints of urban development; the third floor focuses on industrial Chengdu, livable Chengdu, and integrated urban-rural planning; the fourth floor houses the planning exhibition hall for Tianfu New Area in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. This exhibition hall fully presents an international modern new urban area that integrates industry and city, and is suitable for living, business, and work, following the “industry-city integration” and “trinity” principles.

■ The first floor is an impressive and aesthetically pleasing reception hall that embodies the cultural essence of Chengdu.

■ The second floor consists of four sections: “Spotlight on Chengdu,” “Historical Culture,” “All-Region Chengdu,” and “Ecological Chengdu.”

Spotlight on Chengdu: Focuses on an overview of Chengdu through large LCD display walls;

Historical Culture: Exhibits such as the historical cinema “Nine Heavens Gave Birth to Chengdu,” “Enduring Urban Legacy,” and “Protection of Historic and Cultural Cities” provide an overview of Chengdu’s urban development history;

All-Region Chengdu: Exhibits such as the All-Region Chengdu sand table model, district and county planning, and “Roaming Pastoral Chengdu” showcase the integrated planning and development concept of the entire Chengdu region;

Ecological Chengdu: Exhibits such as “Ecological Network Control” and “Planning of World Heritage Sites and Scenic Areas” outline the development of a world-class ecological city, interpreting Chengdu’s natural ecological environment of “mountains, fields, rivers, lakes, and forests.”

■ The third floor is divided into four sections: “Master Plan Blueprint,” “Industrial Chengdu,” “Livable Chengdu,” and “Integrated Urban-Rural Development.”

Master Plan Blueprint: The Chengdu master plan model depicts the grand blueprint of the city’s development;

Industrial Chengdu: Exhibits of thirteen industrial functional zones comprehensively present the key development directions of Chengdu’s industries;

Livable Chengdu: Holistically showcases a city form with comprehensive facilities, convenient services, diverse offerings, and organic renewal;

Integrated Urban-Rural Development: Showcases examples of key town and village planning designs, presenting the new look of rural areas and explaining the core concepts of integrated urban-rural development.

■ The fourth floor is the planning exhibition hall for Tianfu New Area in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The exhibition hall is divided into two parts: “Tianfu New Area Master Plan” and “One City Six Zones Planning.”

Tianfu New Area Master Plan: The master plan concept film, combined with the sand table model, depicts an international modern new urban area that integrates industry and city, and is suitable for living, business, and work, following the “industry-city integration” and “trinity” principles;

One City Six Zones Planning: Exhibits such as “Tianfu New Town” and “Six Industrial Functional Zones” comprehensively introduce the planning layout of Tianfu New Area.

■ The exhibition hall is open from 9:30 to 16:00 from Monday to Saturday;

Guided tours are available at 10:00 and 14:00 each visiting day.
