Yucui Cottage is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Yucui Cottage is located on Yongkang Road along the West Third Ring in Chengdu, by the Jiang'an River. The park isn't very large, but it still takes some time to fully explore, as every corner is picture-perfect — it’s really hard to walk too fast here. Like the famous "Cottage," the garden also features thatched cottages and winding paths. For those who find visiting the Du Fu Thatched Cottage too expensive or simply don’t want to pay the entrance fee, this is a great alternative.

Walking deeper into the small bamboo forest, you’ll find a chic white building — the Wei Art Museum. Those who wish to see it should remember to make a reservation in advance, or you might just show up and find the door closed. At the other end of the park, there’s also a glass house that houses some exhibits, which are said to be available for purchase. If you like any, you can take one home.
