Kangding Hot Springs

Originating from the foothills of Mount Zhugong, the Kangding Hot Springs have a water temperature of around 40°C and are rich in sulfur. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, they had already become a natural bathing spot for travelers. In the early years of the Republic of China, a lodging and teahouse was first established here, named “Yudianlou.” Prices vary from 10 to 25 yuan depending on size and conditions. The Erdaqiao Hot Springs are located 5 kilometers north of the city. If you’re up for it, it’s a half-hour walk, or around seven or eight yuan by taxi.
