Shelong Xianju Tourist Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Shelong landscape features a uniquely spiritual topography, nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains on all sides. The surrounding peaks resemble lotus petals, glowing vividly, while the village is located right at the heart of the lotus. Shelong Sacred Lake shines like a dewdrop of divine grace, crystal clear. Facing the dramatic cliffs of the Dadu River Canyon, the terrain is rugged, yet the core area is flat, sitting at an elevation of 2,400 meters. The village homes within the settlement feature distinctive architectural styles, with a total of 38 households and a permanent population of 161. In 2014, it was recognized as an Ethnic Characteristic Village of Sichuan Province, in 2016 as a National Ethnic Characteristic Village, and in 2018, Shelong Village was listed among the first group of pilot villages for the Rural Revitalization Strategy. It has been hailed by CCTV as a "Shangri-La."
