Zhiju Temple

Zhiju Temple is a Sichuan Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

In the past, Zhiju Temple was a place exclusively dedicated to producing tribute tea for the emperor. The tea leaves harvested from the Imperial Tea Garden were sent here for processing, and were turned into tribute tea by eminent monks who sat in meditation and chanted scriptures.

On June 1, 2007, Zhiju Temple was designated as a Sichuan Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit by the People's Government of Sichuan Province.
