Guide    Surrounded by greenery on all sides, the spring water from Mount Emei cascades down the rocks, white as silk ribbons, resembling pearls set in emeralds. The splashing water dances and leaps, while the cheerful sound of the stream sings out, representing the warm and hospitable people of Mount Emei welcoming guests from all over the world.

Introduction    Welcome Beach is the iconic structure of the Welcome Plaza, which serves visitors to the lower mountain area. From left to right, it features the inscription “The Finest Mountain Under Heaven” by Monk Ba Zhang, the three large characters “Mount Emei” inscribed by Emperor Kangxi, and the World Heritage emblem. It stands against the backdrop of the first visitor center in any national scenic area—the Mount Emei Visitor Center—and one of Sichuan Province’s key museums, the Mount Emei Museum.
