Located at the foot of Mount Emei by the Tiger Creek, less than 500 meters from Baoguo Temple, it is the first scenic sight upon entering the area. One of the main structures of the Welcome Square and also one of the New Ten Scenic Spots of Mount Emei. “Most Beautiful Under Heaven” encapsulates the saying “Mount Emei is the most beautiful under heaven.” Standing before the waterfall, you’ll see a white silk-like cascade hanging from the rocky cliff, with splashing water forming a mist in the air and rainbows occasionally appearing in the sunlight.

Welcome Beach

The iconic structure of the Welcome Square. From left to right, it features the “First Mountain Under Heaven” inscribed by Monk Baizhang, the three large characters “Mount Emei” inscribed by Emperor Kangxi, and the World Heritage emblem.

Welcome Beach is also one of the New Ten Scenic Spots of Mount Emei. Surrounded by greenery, mountain spring water flows down the rocks, white as silk, resembling a pearl inlaid in jade. The splashing water dances joyfully, and the sound of the stream sings merrily.
