Divine Seat —— is a pristine natural scenic area featuring both virgin forests, alpine pastures, lakes, rivers, marshes, and harmonious coexistence with wildlife. Divine Seat —— is an ecological "Shangri-La" far from the noise of the city, free from any pollution, combining forestry, animal husbandry, and agriculture in a serene and peaceful environment, making it particularly ideal for living and life.

Located 450 kilometers west of Chengdu, a beautiful river separates the forest and grassland, with the Divine Seat Village nestled on the western side of this river. Divine Seat, meaning "the land where immortals dwell," is not a name concocted by modern minds. As an almost isolated village, it has been called Divine Seat since ancient times. Just like the kind and simple folk customs of Divine Seat Village that have continued through the ages.

This Tibetan village, home to only 57 households, lies against highland pastures and faces an endless expanse of virgin forest across the river. When driving a jeep along the jungle trails near the village, your eyes will be treated to one delightful surprise after another: fiery red pheasants occasionally darting through the roadside grass, lively rabbits playfully dashing into the woods, and adorable creatures resembling raccoons clumsily crossing the road. Standing at the edge of the village, you might spot groups of red deer striding powerfully through the forest... The Divine Seat people live in such perfect harmony with wildlife and the forested mountains — this is true primal ecology.

The Tibetan homes in Divine Seat Village resemble quaint little bungalows, with sturdy and unique exteriors and spacious, tidy interiors. Walking through the village, you’ll often see elderly people with white hair sitting outside their yards, spinning prayer wheels in their hands while murmuring prayers that express their faith. Their wrinkled faces and silver hair show their advanced age, yet they remain physically strong. The Divine Seat people breathe unpolluted, pure air and drink natural mineral water. Their grazing cattle feed on some of the world’s most nutritious wild grasses and fritillaria, and the villagers drink milk from these eco-friendly cows and eat the freshest beef. Coupled with their laid-back, conflict-free mindset, longevity comes very naturally to the Divine Seat people.

Since ancient times, a proverb has circulated in the Amdo Tibetan region: “The girls of Divine Seat, the pickles of Ranmudu, and the tsampa of Mongolia.” Nowadays, people summarize Divine Seat’s four highlights as: “natural beauty, wildlife, eco-cuisine, and Divine Seat girls.” Thus, some say, “It’s the pristine ecological environment of Divine Seat that has created the 'Divine Seat girls,' a timeless brand praised through the ages.”

If anyone thinks Divine Seat is purely a herding village, they’d be wrong. Surrounding the village are vast fields of high-yield barley, and this is the season for harvesting barley. If you approach the village during this time, villagers will surely put down their sickles, flash you a simple smile, and wave hello. Most of the locals may not speak Mandarin, but you can feel their genuine, unspoiled simplicity and warmth through their smiles and gestures.
