Phoenix Lake Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Phoenix Lake Scenic Area is situated in Dadukou Town, Naxi District, Luzhou City, on the beautiful banks of the Yangtze River. It lies 30 kilometers from downtown Luzhou, 20 kilometers from Luzhou Airport, and 2 kilometers from the "Yibin–Luzhou–Chongqing" Expressway. The area spans around 30 square kilometers of exploitable land, encompassing tranquil gardens, beautiful lakes, ancient relics, and captivating landscapes. It is a tourist region that integrates lake and mountain scenery, high mountains and deep valleys, peculiar rocks and strange cliffs, cascading waterfalls and cave palaces, forests and bamboo seas, water towns and villages, retirement and commercial residences, as well as Baijiu wine estates.

Known as the "Jade Pearl of Southern Sichuan," Phoenix Lake is the largest "natural oxygen bar" in southern Sichuan, with a forest coverage rate of 89%. The wonders of nature have nurtured this beautiful scenic area, encircling the lake with eight poetic and picturesque landscapes: "By the Water," "Clear Clouds over Tribute," "Egret Mists and Rain," "Mound and Wild Ferry," "Autumn Moon over the Flat Lake," "Bamboo Grove and Egret Shadows," "Immortal’s Secluded Cave," and "Ancient Bridge and Lingering Glow."

In the 2007 event "Discovering New Scenic Wonders of China," Phoenix Lake won the "Most Attractive New Scenic Wonder" award in the Chengdu division. In December 2015, the Phoenix Lake National Wetland Park was listed as a pilot site for national wetland park construction, becoming the first national wetland park in Luzhou City. Phoenix Lake is a resort destination that combines tourism and leisure, fitness, and eco-friendly living.

Public Transport: Take the direct bus to Phoenix Lake from Naxi Hedong Bus Terminal. The first bus departs at 6:00 AM, and the last bus returns at 6:10 PM.

Self-Drive Route: Exit the Yibin–Luzhou–Chongqing Expressway at the Phoenix Lake Toll Station (formerly Ma Temple Toll Station).
