Daoliuhe Scenic Area

The Daoliuhe Tourist Scenic Area is situated in Mianhuapo Township, Naxi District, Luzhou City, spanning an area of 6.2 square kilometers. Located in the central part of Luzhou, it borders the Hedong New District of Naxi District, Luzhou. It is only 8 kilometers away from the city center of Luzhou, 3 kilometers from Naxi urban area, and 4 kilometers from Luzhou Airport. The strategically important National Highway 321, which connects Sichuan, Yunnan, and Guizhou, as well as the Luzhou-Naxi Expressway, pass through the area, making its location highly advantageous.

The scenic area enjoys a mild and humid climate, and the river water is clear and flows year-round. As you proceed along the river, you’ll find unique natural landscapes — undulating mountain ranges, lush forests, diverse mountain shapes, crisscrossing gullies, and dramatic elevation drops forming terraced layers. The winding Daoliuhe River resembles a surging dragon as it flows through Yujian and Caixi before finally joining the Yangtze River. With its rich accumulation of historical, cultural, and religious heritage, the area boasts abundant tourism resources and numerous attractions, offering exceptional conditions for tourism development. Among the most renowned natural sights are the “one beach, one gorge, and one bay”: Yujian Beach, famed for its spectacular array of natural rock formations; Luohan Gorge, showcasing the area’s mountainous scenery and known as a natural botanical garden; and Daqiao Bay, home to a series of cascading waterfalls.
