Jiangnan Ecological Park

As a highly influential urban green core in Luzhou's Jiangnan New Area, a key node in the city’s efforts to become a National Garden City, this is a municipal-level key construction project and the largest ecological park in the city. It also serves as an important pillar of Naxi District’s “13531” development strategy and its breakthrough in urban construction, highlighting the ecological concept of “building the environment before building the city.”

Located in the core area of the Naxi section of Luzhou’s southern new city, the park covers an area of over 1,200 acres, with a planned total investment of 1 billion yuan. It is divided into four major zones: the Cultural Exhibition Area, the Wellness and Leisure Area, the Fitness and Recreation Area, and the Tranquil Zen Experience Area.

The construction of the park emphasizes the creation of an ecological environment. While striving to preserve the original vegetation, more than 60,000 landscape trees of various types have been newly planted, including osmanthus, ginkgo, cherry blossoms, and fishtail palms. To reflect the park’s tourism and leisure functions, new fruit tree varieties with good taste and ornamental value—such as “Mantianhong” peaches and “Cuiguan” pears—have been planted for visitors to enjoy. These fruit trees cover an area of over 300 acres, with a total of 17,000 trees.

The park will be developed into a comprehensive ecological park integrating cultural experience, tourism, leisure activities, conference accommodation, wellness retreats, and other multifunctional uses.
