Ledao Ancient Town

This is the ancient town of "Ledao," hidden deep in the mountains and unknown to many, boasting a history of over a thousand years. Located within Naxi District, Luzhou City, in southern Sichuan, it sits at the foot of Fengchui Ridge on the eastern bank of the Yongning River. National Highway 321 runs westward through the area. It features a long, secluded historical street and a time-worn ancient town that has endured for millennia. Time flows like a song, and the delicate fingers of this ancient town have played melodies of the mountains and waters, as well as magical, dreamlike notes. It is a landscape forever preserved, home to the over 200-year-old ancient temple Nanhua Palace, the "Anti-Japanese War Primary School" built during the war (in 1938) by Zeng Ziping, a student of Yun Daiying, the lush Qingnian Grand Canyon, and the breathtaking Huangjue Beach Waterfall with its roaring waves crashing against the shore.
