The Wang Family Ancestral Hall in Zizhong

The Wang Family Ancestral Hall in Zizhong is a cultural relics protection unit of Sichuan Province.

The Wang Family Ancestral Hall in Tiefu Town, Zizhong County, was built during the Qing Dynasty and is a provincial-level key cultural relics protection unit. It is a relatively well-preserved ancestral hall, constructed in the 12th year of the Jiaqing reign of the Qing Dynasty (1807), facing south with a traditional courtyard layout. Covering a construction area of 990 square meters, it consists of a mountain gate, main hall, stage, side halls, east and west wing rooms, and a bluestone courtyard. Notably, its mountain gate features a unique style with exquisitely carved patterns that are highly lifelike, offering considerable aesthetic value. Additionally, from the Jiaqing reign of the Qing Dynasty through the Republican era to the founding of New China, many significant historical events have left their traces here.

Protected area: Extend 10 meters outward to the east, west, and north, and 11.5 meters outward to the south from the boundary of the protected site.

Construction control zone: Bounded by the protected area, extending 50 meters eastward to cultivated land beyond the fire wall, 90 meters southward to farmland beyond the memorial archway at the mountain gate, and 50 meters outward to the west and north beyond the surrounding walls.
