Happy Island in Bailong Lake is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Happy Island Scenic Area in Bailong Lake, Qingchuan County, is located by Bailong Lake, a national scenic area and the largest artificial lake in Southwest China. The scenic area is centered around Happy Island Peninsula and connected by the tailwater area of Bailong Lake, covering two towns and two villages (Wenwu Village in Muyu Town and Xingfu Village in Shazhou Town), with a core area of approximately 0.1 square kilometers.

The scenic area draws on traditional cultural elements such as fortune, happiness, and longevity, incorporating industrial cultures like olive oil, fruit farming, and fishing, as well as folk culture such as yellow wine. It is divided into four themed zones: Hundred Longevity Garden, Hundred Happiness Garden, Hundred Fortune Garden, and Hundred Fruit Garden. It also features “Seven Major Landscapes” including Waterside Retreat, Fortune Platform, Prayer Platform, Blessing Platform, Happiness Square, Folk Street, and Fishing Platform. These attractions have significantly boosted the income and poverty alleviation efforts of surrounding areas such as Shazhou Town and Muyu Town. Muyu Town: Muyu Town is a newly developed immigrant settlement town, established in February 1988. It is located in the eastern part of Qingchuan, with convenient transportation—15 kilometers west of the county seat, 108 kilometers east of Guangyuan, and bordering Qima Township to the south. Provincial Highway 105 runs through the town, with 22 kilometers of village roads within the town. The town covers an area of 50.7 square kilometers, governs 4 administrative villages, 32 agricultural cooperatives, 1 residential committee, and 5 resident groups.
