Jinpanzi Reservoir

After the completion of the Jinpanzi Navigation and Hydropower Hub Project, the total reservoir capacity can reach 100 million cubic meters, with backwater extending to Yemaoxi in Dazhou urban area. The water depth at Tongchuan Bridge reaches over 2.5 meters, allowing for the passage of passenger and cargo ships under 500 tons. The area mainly consists of low mountains and hills, featuring a subtropical humid monsoon climate with distinct seasons, a long frost-free period, abundant rainfall, and mild weather. Along the scenic touring route, there are numerous natural and cultural attractions including Gayun Pavilion, Huofeng Mountain Scenic Area, Cuiping Mountain Park, Dragon Claw Pagoda, Zhongba Island, Chengdu Mountain Lawn Park, Dazhou Botanical Garden, and Heshi Airport.
