The existing Nanshe Jade Emperor Temple features a traditional quadrangle courtyard layout, facing south with its back to the north. Along the central axis from south to north are the Offering Hall and the Main Hall, flanked on the east and west by side halls and wing rooms.

The Main Hall is built on a 0.98-meter-high stone platform, with a width of three bays, a depth of six rafters, and a nearly square floor plan. It has a single-eave flush gable roof. The bracket sets on the column tops are of the Dougong style, with a 5° inward tilt. The roof eaves extend prominently. Ancient wooden components such as columns, beams, purlins, and brackets are well preserved, demonstrating fine craftsmanship and a simple, ancient style.
