In 2012, the Mingning Ling Family Tomb was designated as part of the eighth batch of Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Sichuan Province.
Protected area: 1 meter eastward, 6.8 meters southward, 4 meters westward, and 2 meters northward from the edge of the tomb.
Construction control zone: 10 meters beyond the protected area.
