Chongqing Leyou Leyu Tourism Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chongqing Tourism Investment Group. The Leyou Leyu Leisure Resort Theme Park, invested and built by the tourism investment group, is the world’s first third-generation theme park. It is the only officially recognized theme park project by the Chongqing Municipal Government. Situated in Weixinghu Subdistrict, Yongchuan District, Chongqing (formerly the Chongqing Wildlife World), the park covers an area of 5,000 acres with a total investment of 3 billion yuan. It is a government-endorsed theme park project. Developed over four years on the foundation of the former Chongqing Wildlife World, the leisure resort theme park consists of four major sections: Global Village, Happy World (Entertainment Paradise), Chongqing Wildlife World, and Wild World Liangjiang Holiday Hotel. It represents the premier and most advanced modern theme park leisure resort cluster in western China and even nationwide.

Leyou Leyu Theme Park is the first national-level theme park in Southwest China and also one of the largest wildlife eco-tourism parks in the country.

The park is home to more than 430 rare wild animal species from 14 countries across five continents, including extremely precious species such as golden tigers, silver tigers, and white tigers. The park also features a wide range of amusement facilities, high-end hotels, dining areas, and more, making it a large-scale theme park that integrates food, fun, and entertainment.

Global Village

A massive medieval circular castle, along with a 40,000-square-meter themed commercial and entertainment block, brings together novel goods, foods, and carnival amusements from around the globe. Here, you can fully experience the convergence of cultures from over 80 countries and regions—it’s also the starting point for the grand parade and welcome show. There's also the Eskimo Village Ice World where you can enjoy ice slides, real ice skating, ice sculptures, DIY activities, and a uniquely fun ice bar.

Lava City

In the 4D cinema of “Lava City,” you’ll experience intense visual thrills such as zero-gravity scenes, dinosaur attacks, monster battles, water explosions, special effects, train derailments, and deadly chases.

The 360-degree main theater features two huge U-shaped screens, a dynamic platform, and the 360° Thrill Cinema—the only high-tech digital entertainment complex of its kind in China—offering you a taste of the allure of cutting-edge digital technology.

Entertainment Paradise

The prehistoric giant beast King Kong, with its massive 12.5-meter body, wildly spins and shakes the bus. Amid its roars, it spews thick smoke from its mouth while glowing red eyes flash fiercely.

In the Persian Mist area, designed with ancient Arabian culture, you can experience China’s highest (26-meter) Sinbad’s Voyage adventure.

In the Fountain of Wisdom, you’ll be taken on a thrilling ride through the turbulent waters of the Eternal River—Eternal River Rafting.

At the Dream Factory of Flight, high-altitude flying lets you gaze across the park’s beautiful scenery. There’s also the giant swing that will have you screaming with excitement.

The Ten Rings Roller Coaster, with its thousands of meters of twisting track, lets you feel the crazy thrill of holding the Guinness World Record for roller coasters.

The Tree Demon Storm in the Magic Forest is the latest model of suspended spinning ride, first introduced in Asia.

There are also dozens of rides in Happy Little People’s Land, offering the coolest and most exciting “children’s playground” in Southwest China.

Themed Performances

Animals are definitely the stars. In the Forest Theater, the Royal Circus, stunning aerial acrobatics, and royal equestrian shows will leave you amazed. In the Dolphin Theater, stories unfold from the deep blue sea. Under the moonlight, adorable animals and humorous clowns will join you for a lively dance party. The Dolphin Alliance stage play won the “National Best Theme Park Performance Award.”

Wildlife Park

In the animal world, you can drive your own car through the drive-through area and get up close and personal with fierce beasts. Nearly 10,000 rare birds and animals from over 300 species across the world’s five continents roam here. The park boasts China’s first Australian animal free-range area, the world’s only—and China’s first—golden, silver, and white tiger breeding zone, and the largest single introduction of African animals in China. Spanning Europe and venturing into Africa for exploration, you’ll encounter thrilling surprises throughout your adventure that will leave you in awe.

Chongqing Wildlife World is a major tourism project under Chongqing Communications Tourism Investment Group. Approved by the State Forestry Administration in 2000, it is the first national-level wildlife eco-tourism park in Western China and currently the largest comprehensive mega-theme park in China that combines entertainment, leisure, vacation, science education, and animal observation, breeding, and rescue.

Chongqing Wildlife World has introduced over 430 rare wild animal species totaling more than 30,000 individuals from 14 countries across five continents, including 260 species and over 10,000 individuals under international conventions Appendix I & II and China’s key protected species list. Among them are over 30 extremely rare species, such as the golden tiger (with a global population of no more than 5, and the only one in China), the rare silver and white tigers, and the first introductions to mainland China of species like the common waterbuck, impala, and Cape gray mongoose. Moreover, herds of giraffes, flamingos, Anatidae birds, and mountain lions at Chongqing Wildlife World rank the highest in China, with 36 giraffes, 500 flamingos, 1,000 ducks, and over 20 mountain lions.

With its rich diversity of animal species and large populations, Chongqing Wildlife World fills a gap in wildlife protection and research in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area, elevates the scale and level of ecological studies in Southwest China, and has become the largest wildlife gene pool and animal breeding research center in the west.

Liangjiang Holiday Hotel

Attraction Tickets

Leye Lele Du will implement a one-ticket system, meaning visitors can enjoy all amusement rides in the park, watch a variety of performances, and participate in themed activities after purchasing their entry ticket. The opening special price is 160 RMB per person. Additionally, there are corresponding preferential policies for seniors, children, and special groups. Particularly worth recommending is the annual pass launched by Leye Lele Du, now available at just 438 RMB per card. With the annual pass, visitors can enter the park and be exempt from paying for the Entertainment Paradise, Wildlife World, and other areas within the park. It is valid for one year (for personal use only) and can currently be applied for at the park’s member club. It is understood that apart from transportation, food and beverage inside the park, and certain coin-operated games that require additional payment, visitors do not need to pay any extra fees after buying the ticket. “The Dolphin Alliance stage play is priced at 60 RMB.”

Scenic Area Transportation

1. From major areas in Chongqing such as Caiyuanba, Chenjiaping, or Longtousi, take a bus to Yongchuan bound for either the 25th Team or the Passenger Transport Center. The full fare is 35 RMB, and the journey takes about 90 minutes.

2. If you are taking the bus from Chongqing to Yongchuan via the 25th Team, exit the station from the ticket hall, cross the road, and take Bus 203. The terminal stop is Leye Lele Du. The fare is 1 RMB, and the ride takes about 25 minutes. If you are taking the bus from Chongqing to Yongchuan via the Passenger Transport Center, exit from the bus entrance, cross the road, and take Bus 501 or 203 to the terminal. The fare is 1.5 RMB, and the ride takes about 20 minutes. Alternatively, if you take a taxi directly from Yongchuan, the ride takes about 10 minutes and costs between 25 and 30 RMB.
