The Tomb of Mao Shilian is a cultural heritage site protected by Shizhu County.

The Tomb of Mao Shilian is located at Xia Mao Shan in Jiebian Group, Lichang Village, Lichang Township. It dates back to the 30th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1904) and is categorized as an ancient tomb.

On December 31, 2011, the Tomb of Mao Shilian was included in the fourth batch of cultural heritage protection units of Shizhu County.

Lichang Township: A place on the northwestern edge of Shizhu County, situated in the heart of the Three Gorges Reservoir area. To the south lies the important town of Zhongzhou, and to the north faces the pearl-like Shiping. The Han Dynasty tomb cluster of Zhuanxi Creek boasts a history of two thousand years, while the ancient civilization and legends of Jigongzui at Futian Temple endure. Both Xituo and Wangchang were once under its jurisdiction, encompassing both abundant resources and exceptional people. The Yangtze River remains unchanged through the ages, and Lichang has long been a place of prosperity.

Through the vicissitudes of time, many changes have taken place. Covering an area of 37 square kilometers with 860 hectares of arable land, it governs 5 villages, 45 groups, and a population of 14,000 residents.
