Located in the northern suburbs of Feicui City near Atuo Ridge in Wuzhishan City, 1,000 meters from the city center and at the 200-kilometer mark of the Hainan-Yulin Middle Road. Its boundaries are as follows: to the east up to the 913.0 contour line of Tongjia Triangle Ridge, to the west up to the summit at 557.0, to the south up to the summit of Triangle Ridge at 719.5, and to the north up to the 538 contour line of Hengtou Mountain. The park covers an area of 8,066.7 hectares, with 7,866.7 hectares of natural forest. On the southern side, there are two undulating mountain ranges extending from north to south, with the left range stretching approximately 3,000 meters from the main ridge to Ali Mountain Resort, and the right range extending roughly 4,000 meters from the main ridge to the Tourist Villa. The distance between the two ranges varies from about 700 to 1,000 meters. From the peak of the main ridge, looking southward, the entire Atuo Ridge range resembles the shape of the English letter “U,” with valleys around 200 meters deep. The entire mountainous area is covered by forests spanning approximately 160,000 mu. The park features a harmonious blend of water and mountain landscapes, with beautiful scenery. It includes virgin forests, planted forests, streams, springs, undulating mountain ranges, Taiping Waterfall, Qingchun Ridge Waterfall, and other charming natural attractions.

Atuo Ridge Forest Park is home to a large number of tropical natural and planted forests, characterized by evergreen species, multi-layered mixtures, and varying ages. Major types include tropical rainforest, tropical monsoon forest, and evergreen broadleaf forest. The forest resources are extremely abundant, with a forest coverage rate of around 90%. Over 1,600 species of wild plants have been identified, belonging to 400 families, including more than 700 species across 60 families of trees and shrubs. Among these are over 100 species of terrestrial medicinal plants, 56 types of commercial timber, 56 types of fiber plants, as well as various flowers and ornamental tree species. Wildlife resources are also rich, with over 30 species of mammals from 3 orders, 120 species of birds from 30 families across 7 orders, and 40 species of amphibians and reptiles from 3 orders. Rare animals under national protection include the Lady Amherst's pheasant, Hainan partridge, monitor lizard, and python—totaling 6 species. Additionally, there are 16 species under national second-class protection, such as the pangolin, and 12 species under provincial protection.

In addition, Atuo Ridge Forest Park is situated in the heart of the Wuzhishan area and has a tropical monsoon rainforest climate, which is warm in winter and cool in summer. Summers are mild and rainy, while autumns are cool and humid. The area enjoys spring-like weather all year round, earning the reputation of a “natural air conditioner.” Although Atuo Ridge may not be as towering, majestic, or widely renowned as Mount Huang, Mount Emei, or Mount Tai, the experience of climbing it offers a uniquely broad and open view. The rolling ridges stretch out like an endless sea; the full expanse of the green city lies before your eyes; the drifting clouds create dynamic waves; and the scenery is both majestic and beautiful… There’s so much to admire, with an exceptionally unique charm. It is an ideal location for developing tourism activities such as hiking, sightseeing, and driving routes. Driving along the mountain road into the forest allows visitors to observe a variety of rare trees and listen to the calls of different birds—an experience full of its own special charm.
