The Guilinyang Beach Tourism Area is located in the northeastern part of Qiongshan City, 19 kilometers from Fucheng Town and 24 kilometers east of Haikou on the ocean. It features five resort areas: the Beach Swimming Area, International Sports Village, Thai Flower and Fruit Garden, Sunshine City Resort, and World Roaming Park, as well as services such as barbecues and water recreation.

The Beach Swimming Area is a large natural swimming beach stretching over 10 li along the coastline. The seawater here is clearer than that of Haikou’s west coast, with no sharks in the area and no reefs on the seabed. The shoreline has a gentle slope, and the shallow water zone extends up to 200 meters wide. The coastal casuarina forest belt stands like a wall, and the sand is white, fine, and soft—making it an ideal spot for swimming and leisure vacationing.

The Thai Flower and Fruit Garden boasts a strong Thai-style agricultural tourism charm. Covering an area of 2,000 mu, it introduces premium varieties of tropical fruits and flowers from Thailand, and features Thai-style architecture, Thai Buddhist light displays, a water sports center, a recreation center, Lover’s Village, fishing platforms, the Splendid Homeland, and restaurants offering international cuisines. The area provides comprehensive dining, accommodation, and entertainment facilities, allowing visitors to admire exotic flowers, taste unique fruits, experience Thai ambiance, and enjoy the freshness of returning to nature.

Near the Guilinyang Beach Tourism Area are the Dongzhaigang Mangrove Nature Reserve and the “Underwater Village.” According to research, the Underwater Village consists of the remnants of 72 villages that sank into the sea during the Ming Dynasty’s Qiongzhou earthquake.
