Haikou Qiongzhou Bridge

The Qiongzhou Bridge is a national key project constructed by the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Government using government bonds, and is also one of the major measures taken by them to develop the economy of northern Hainan. The total planned investment for the bridge is nearly 200 million yuan. Located between Qiongshan City and Haikou City, the bridge has a total length of 1,396.98 meters. It spans the Nandu River, with the main span featuring a five-arch structure made of steel pipe concrete, and the bridge is 23 meters wide.

The Qiongzhou Bridge was built to urban bridge standards, featuring four lanes in both directions, each 15 meters wide, with 1.5-meter-wide non-motorized vehicle lanes on each side, 1-meter-wide sidewalks on each side, and 1-meter-wide green belts on each side. The Qiongzhou Bridge is an important hub connecting downtown Haikou and the new urban district, and serves as a key link in the Haikou–Wenchang Expressway connection to Haikou.

Location: East Extension of Guoxing Avenue, Qiongshan District, Haikou City, Hainan Province

Transportation: Take bus routes 8, 12, 27, 33, 43, 51, 52, 67, 68, Tourist Route 4 or 5 within Haikou City and get off at “Hainan Square” Station

Orientation:

Located between Qiongshan City and Haikou City, it starts from Guoxing Avenue in the west and extends to Baiju Avenue in the east.
