The Beihai Shell Carving Museum is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Beihai Shell Carving Museum is a national AAA-level tourist attraction, located at No. 6 Yuncang Road, Beihai City, Guangxi. It is the first museum in China themed around shell carving. The museum is dedicated to "preserving the art of Beihai shell carving and promoting traditional Chinese culture." Centered around sightseeing tourism, it follows the history of shells and the cultural heritage of shell carving as its main themes. It features specially designed areas such as the Shell Carving History and Culture Origins Zone, Production Experience Zone, Physical Product Display Zone, and Treasures of the Museum Zone, calling on all sectors of society to actively participate in the inheritance and protection of traditional handicrafts. The museum houses thousands of precious shell-related cultural relics, exquisite mother-of-pearl inlay collections, and over a hundred master-level shell carving artworks. To enhance visitors' understanding of the historical development of Beihai shell carving, the museum provides guided tours for group visits and has set up a shell carving experience station where visitors can observe the shell carving production process.
