The ruins of the ancient Qinzhou City are located beside the Oldzhou Market, 60 kilometers northwest of Lingshan County. From the Yuanhe era of the Tang Dynasty (806–820) to the first year of the Tiansheng era of the Song Dynasty (1023), it served as the seat of Qinzhou Prefecture. The site measures 270 meters in length and 135 meters in width, covering a total area of 36,450 square meters. The city wall is 7.8 meters wide at the base, 5.8 meters wide at the top, and about 5 meters high. Artifacts such as bricks, tiles, pottery, and metalware have been unearthed here. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Guangxi.
Oldzhou Town: Located in the western part of Lingshan County, 60 kilometers from the county seat, it covers an area of 227.2 square kilometers, has 1 neighborhood committee, 29 village committees, and 636 natural villages. It neighbors towns such as Lüwu, Shaping, and Taiping. The town government is located at the former site of the Qinzhou Prefecture government and is known as the “Ancient City.” The Litong Railway and the Lusha asphalt road run through the area, providing convenient transportation. The town has 3,957 hectares of arable land, including 2,495 hectares of paddy fields. The total population is 878,383, of which 85,755 are agricultural residents.
