The Longwu Farm Ecological Sightseeing Tourist Area is located 10 kilometers west of Lingshan County and includes Longwu Farm and Longwu Manor along the verdant banks of Mingke River beneath Longwu Bridge, covering a total area of 4.9 million square meters.

The 331.5-meter-long Longwu Bridge, built in 1979, was China’s first reinforced concrete double-curved arch bridge with a clear span exceeding 100 meters at the time. Resting quietly between blue waters and azure skies, the bridge resembles a magnificent rainbow, showcasing yet another hallmark of Lingshan County as the “Hometown of Arch Bridges in China.”

Longwu Farm spans a planting area of 5.25 million square meters and is hailed as a museum of premium lychee varieties in Lingshan. The farm’s Guiwei lychees and Lingshan Xiangli lychees won gold and silver awards respectively at the China Agricultural Expo. When the lychees are ripe, visitors can pick fruit in the orchards, personally experiencing the joy of harvest and the serene beauty of the pastoral landscape.

Nestled within a thousand-acre lychee plantation, the ancient fortress-like Longwu Manor, also known as “Xindatang,” is an exceptionally luxurious and sturdy estate. It covers a built-up area of 6,769.68 square meters, with an overall layout in the shape of a “square enclosed within a square.” The complex features “corner bastions, double corridors, and two inner towers,” comprising a total of 110 rooms. The garden-within-a-garden design exudes a subtle fragrance. The walls are constructed from polished blue bricks, while beams, brackets, and columns are adorned with exquisitely crafted carvings. The corner towers reach up to six stories high and are connected by hidden corridors on the second floor of the outer porch.
