Shuanghe Park is located beside the Ring Road to the south of Lingshan County, nestled among mountains and waters, embraced by two hills framing a river, with lush greenery and beautiful scenery. The park covers an area of 653 acres, with its main entrance facing the 50-meter-wide boulevard and a secondary entrance situated to the south, accessible via Jiangbin Road and the roundabout road of the Cultural and Sports Center—offering convenient transportation. Shuanghe Park, together with the new Cultural and Sports Center to the south and the Shuanghe Development Zone, forms a comprehensive new development area in the county that integrates culture, sports, leisure, entertainment, commerce, and residential functions.

The planned area of Shuanghe Park is functionally divided into a scenic tourism zone, an ethnic cultural performance zone,

a commercial zone, and a riverside entertainment and leisure zone. The park enjoys fertile land, abundant rainfall, and rich vegetation,

with a wide variety of plant species. To create a richer layering of landscapes, various plants of different varieties and forms are extensively planted throughout the scenic tourism zone to define green spaces. These include pine and cypress forests, peach blossom woods,

willow groves, osmanthus woods, bamboo forests, as well as highly tropical coconut groves, betel nut groves, and lychee orchards. The beauty of these different plants across seasons satisfies people’s varying landscape preferences all year round.

In addition to its stunning natural scenery, the park also features a number of uniquely designed artificial attractions. With the observation pavilion at its highest point as the centerpiece, various attractions are scattered throughout the park, including memorial archways, pavilions and corridors, riverside gazebos, and the iconic Double Cranes sculpture. Scenic viewpoints are set up at the best vantage points on the hills, with resting platforms placed at regular intervals, and the area is thoughtfully adorned

with delicate and attractive landscaping features. The attractions are interconnected by staircases and winding mountain paths. The park also includes two cable bridges connecting both banks of the Mingke River, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the park’s beauty from various angles in a relaxed and enjoyable manner.

To meet the needs of visitors and balance activity with relaxation, the park features an ethnic cultural performance zone, barbecue areas, fishing spots, a children’s playground, water-themed swimming pools,

water-friendly platforms, and boat docks, providing a range of recreational facilities and activities that allow visitors to enjoy the benefits of both mountain and water scenery, as well as dynamic and tranquil experiences throughout their visit.
