The former site of the founding of the CPC Lingshan County Committee at Chatea Tea Fields in Xinwei is located in the old residence of the Meng family in Lü Village, Chatea Village Committee, Xinwei Town, Lingshan County. It dates back to April 1949 and is classified as a cultural heritage building.
It was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit in 2010.
