The former site of the establishment of the 18th Regiment of the People's Liberation Army in the Yue-Gui Region is located in the old Xie family residence in Baipingsong Village, Fanglan Village Committee, Fozizhen, Lingshan County. It dates back to July 1947 and is classified as a cultural relic building.
It was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit in 2010.
