Longkutang Ancient Architectural Complex
The Longkutang Ancient Architectural Complex is a cultural relics protection unit of Lingshan County.
The Longkutang Ancient Architectural Complex is located in Longkutang Village, south of Tanwei Town, Lingshan County, approximately 16 kilometers from downtown Lingshan. Dating back to the eighth year of the Kangxi reign (1669 AD), it falls under the category of cultural heritage architecture.
It was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit in January 2018.
Tanwei Town: Located in the central part of Lingshan County, it lies 13 kilometers northeast of the county seat, 98 kilometers southwest of Qinzhou, and 173 kilometers northwest of Nanning. It serves as the southern gateway from Lingshan to Zhanjiang, Beihai, Qinzhou, Fangchenggang, and Nanning. The town covers a total area of 159 square kilometers, comprising 23 village committees and 1 neighborhood committee, with 258 natural villages and a total population of 89,358, including 82,336 agricultural residents. The town has 3,317.47 hectares of arable land, of which 2,508.8 hectares are paddy fields.
