Ancient Houses of Jingtang Village

The ancient houses of Jingtang Village are a cultural relic protected at the county level in Lingshan County.

The ancient houses of Jingtang Village are located one kilometer northeast of the Shitang Town Government in Lingshan County. Dating back to the 49th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty (1784 AD), they are classified as cultural heritage architecture.

They were designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit in January 2018.

Shitang Town: Located in the eastern part of Lingshan County, it is 33 kilometers from the county seat and borders the towns of Lemin, Saixu, Fuwang in Pubei County, and Baihe, Mashan, and others in Hengxian County. It covers a total area of 112.67 square kilometers, including 1,847 hectares of arable land, of which 1,529 hectares are paddy fields. The town administers 17 village committees and 1 neighborhood committee, encompassing 93 natural villages with a total population of 47,988, of which 46,228 are agricultural residents.
